ABISS receives a response from FSRA
We have today received a response to our letter from Mr. Tim Bzowey, Executive Vice President Auto/Insurance Products at FSRA. He has indicated that quote "FSRA seeks out consumer and claimant voices to inform our work, especially relating to how insurer misconduct can be better identified, curbed, and sanctioned to protect public interest." Of note he has also indicated that "Claimants who believe they are treated unfairly in the claim process can report incidents to FSRA
Nobody is Listening - our appeal to FSRA
FSRA has taken over for FSCO in the oversight of the insurance industry. After having met with staff at FSRA we were hopeful to see some positive change, yet none of their claims to help the insured take claimant treatment into consideration. In June ABISS wrote to FSRA to ask, why their focus was only ever on the money aspect and who was going to take responsibility for the treatment of patients by their insurance providers.
